Just Destiny, fronted by John McPhilips, hailed from West Belfast. The line up was completed by Gerard Duffy, Guitar, John Duffy, Drums and Marty McAree, Bass. They played support to Poison Girls at the A Centre in December 1981 and returned to the same venue the following year to support Dirt and Crass (see images above © John Campbell).
Live they played original compositions such as Night Time Manoeuvres, a track written about the death of one of the Hunger Strikers. They also played a great cover of Joy Division’s Transmission in their live set.
