THE EXPELLED


The Expelled were an early 80’s punk band from Dungannon. The band were Benny Donnelly on vocals, Aber on drums, Jim Murray on Bass, Sean Quinn on guitar.The band played all covers, such as ‘Wasted Life’ by Stiff little Fingers in their set.

The band later morphed into Rock/Pop band Havana Affair, which entailed some lineup changes over the years. Live they played covers by The Cult & Johnny Hates Jazz. Havana Affair also recorded an EP of original material at Homestead Studios in Randalstown with the legendary Mudd Wallace (R.I.P.) at the controls. The band folded in the mid 80’s. Tracks on the EP were ‘If I'm Dreaming’, ‘Didn't Mean To Be’,’Man Who’ & ‘Can’t Stop The Rain’.
