Bangor band Wasted Talent formed in 1982. The original line up being Dave Kirk vocals, Gerry Stanford bass, Brian Parry guitar and Paul McMullan on drums. Their set, at the time was heavily dominated by U2 covers.
The band reformed in 2012 to play the first ever punk festival in their home town, again with a set of pUnk covers. The band’s original members Dave Kirk vocals and Paul McMullan drums were joined by new blood, provided by Kyle Lamb bass and Chris Brown guitar,. The band continue to play sporadic live shows.
